SGT Dontel Duplessis is a decorated soldier, born with the power to absorb energy & mastery of weapons by touching them. His cosmic gift gains him access to a classified, monster-infested base. There, he discovers harmful testing of nuclear chemicals & bioweapons by the terroristic pilot, Scarestrike  & absorbs the power of a nuclear explosion, saving a nearby town.

The side effects of his heroism are permanent, allowing him to effectively battle the evil aviator & his mutated monstrosities. He later acquires his iconic “Soldier Suit” at The Cosmos Cave, that channels his absorbed, nuclear energy into plasma attacks, plasma constructs of weapons he’s touched, & energy duplicates of himself that can be deployed into battle alongside him. His power promotes him to one of the three leaders of the team, where he uses his authority to keep both his teammates & the government in check, as the one-man military, The Duployment.
