SGT Dontel Duplessis is a decorated soldier, born with the power to absorb energy & mastery
of weapons by touching them. His cosmic gift gains him access to a classified, monster
infested base. There, he discovers harmful testing of nuclear chemicals & bioweapons
by the terroristic pilot, Scarestrike  & absorbs the power of a nuclear explosion,
saving a nearby town.

The side effects of his heroism are permanent, allowing him to effectively battle the evil aviator & his mutated monstrosities. He will later acquire his iconic “Soldier Suit” at The Cosmos Cave, that channels his absorbed, nuclear energy into plasma attacks, plasma constructs of weapons he’s touched, & energy duplicates of himself that can be deployed into battle alongside him & his comrades. His power promotes him to one of the three leaders of the team, where he uses his authority to keep both his teammates & the government in check, as the one-man military, The Duployment.
